2 months down so far time flies when dividends come in. Never really had a winter it stayed cold about a 3 weeks but was just barely cold nothing to write home about. Fruit trees are blooming already.
Not a lot of payouts but some big ones. My motto right now is to grow up not out. ABBV is my second largest payer. This months dividend is 4.6 months higher than last February and for the first Two months it is 3.4 percent. These are way below the 15 percent I would like. But I have not been adding that much. Needed work on my truck and have been adding money back to my accounts.
Started filing my taxes looks like I will get a nice bit back. After years of owing last year and this year I have had money back. When I was in the Navy I tried to get it where it was very little I got back. I still don’t like giving the government a loan lol.
Always love looking at my top ten. It’s almost like having my own portfolio within a portfolio. Lots of movement in the top 10 this month MSFt dropped from 6th to 8th. MO rose from 7th to 6th. XOM rose from 8th to 7th, BAC fell off KR rose from 10th to the 9th position and DHI rejoined the group. This month is 65 percent of total portfolio. Dropping a little from last month.
Feb saw the buys of AMZN, FDUS, DUK, OMF, BAC. And dividend raises totaling $153.94. But with a cut of $412.60 from LYB. Every year it seems one stock cuts its dividend since 2020 hopefully I break that streak next year.
Total portfolio value $694,517.82
Forward annual dividend $17,424.11
Trailing 12 months of Dividends $17,369.28. Expected dividend as of 2026 $12,720.42
Net worth as of Dec 25 $930,860.08
Sells
Bought AMZN, FDUS, DUK, OMF, BAC
Dividend raises TROW, PPL, NEE, KO, PEG. Dividend Cuts LYB.
Future goals
Future portfolio value of $750,000.00
Forward annual dividends of $20,000
Future net worth $1,000,000.00
This month I went over $107,100.00 in lifetime dividends.
As I wrap this months report up I’m very pleased with everything. This shows that no matter what you can do the same as I have done and the earlier you start the better off you will be. Just constant buying good quality stocks that raise their value and raise their dividends.
