As the third quarter of the year
approaches its end, it’s time to report my dividend income for
August. In August 2024, my dividend income was as follows:
My Total dividends in August are
€1,769.44 ($1,940.01). After taxes, my net dividend income is
€1,312.26 ($1,407.48). In year 2023, my net dividend income in
August was €1,192.58 ($1,306.02). My portfolio’s net dividend
income increased by €119.68 or 10.0% to compared the same month of
previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been several
changes to the dividend income of August. In 2023, AD and NN paid its
quarterly dividend in September, this year in August. One new
dividend payer have joined to the portfolio, namely JGPI.DE, while
MED has left it, additional purchase such VZ, BMY, SBUX and O.
Compared to a year ago, the holdings also included some reasonable
dividend increases like CVS, ETN and UNM, but unfortunately also
dividend cuts from SDIV.
This net passive income of €1,312.26
means that I received €42.33 every day or €1.76 every hour during
August, regardless of what I did. Until the end of August, the
corresponding amounts are comfortable €62.38 per day and €2.60
per hour.
This month’s dividend increased my
cumulative net dividend income € 171,587.78.
Net income / expenditure
Net passive income for August was
€1,312.26, and by the end of August it totalled €15,220.05.
Total expenditure for August was
€1,849.22, and by the end of August it totalled €9,626.24.
The result for August was €-536.96,
and by the end of August it totalled €5,593.81
I have now collected 64.8% of my target
net passive income for this year, which is €23,500.00.
