September 25 Dividend and Portfolio Review.

September is done the dividends are in. Three quarters of the year is gone. I can tell you this month was great. Lots of things in the portfolio.

September dividends were great led by PEG as the largest dividend. 10 payments of over $100.00. 2nd largest amount behind June. Got payments 17 times 1 company paid twice the other is a mutual fund. This month is 7.54 percent higher than last September. For the third quarter this is 8.25 percent. For the year it is 8.63 percent higher than last year so far. While I would like to get closer to 15 percent I will take any gain I get.

The portfolio performed well rising $18,350.00 in September. 2 strong monthly gains in a row haven’t tracked it officially for much time but I’ve had strong $15,000 plus months a few times. So far this year my Portfolio has risen by $89,157.04.

No changes to the top 10 this month they all stayed the same. Not often that happens. This month is 65.6 percent of my portfolio. Higher than last months I’m ok with that let the winners run. Last month was 64 percent.

This month the buys were KDP and XOM. No sells this month been not buying a lot. Went over $100,000.00 in lifetime dividends, big achievement.

As I wrap this months report up I’m very pleased with everything. This shows that no matter what you can do the same as I have done and the earlier you start the better off you will be. Just constant buying good quality stocks that raise their value and raise their dividends.
